Extra wide and long hook to hold your steering wheel up out of the way. Bolts specifically into the roof cross beam where the sun visor mount was. Looks a bit long and dangly but engineered (and tested!) for maximum awesomeness.
 
Also doesn't stab you as hard as an alumnium piece when you are in the car with your back turned tryign to work on something.
